At the heart of the M.P. Tech Shot Blast and Peening Process is the Rotary Shot Blast Head. The 8 bladed, bi-directional wheel and hub is a one piece precision Investment Cast unit that is double heat treated and dynamically balanced for long life and quiet operation. Our Double Sided Bidirectional blast head operates more quietly than single sided wheels and more accurately controls the flow of abrasive through the wheel, a significant factor in efficient shot peening. The Shot Blast Wheel can be fitted with a variety of drive motor sizes, blade types and control cage openings to optimize its cleaning and peening performance on each system.
